> Design Thinking MOOC – Linking Theoretical Frames with Practice

In my role as Director of the Macromedia University MOOC Design Thinking I have been very busy over these last couple of months with conceiving, designing, planning and supervising the production of the first MOOC produced by Macromedia University.

The Macromedia University MOOC Design Thinking is not only about understanding the methodology of Design Thinking, it also provides profound insights into related scientific fields. Altogether 15 professors and lecturers present their knowledge and expertise, and scrutinize the topic from various perspectives.

You will learn about Design Thinking and its creative and human centered approach to stimulate meaningful innovation. At Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, we believe that a focus on human needs and experience should drive innovation – not technology. Being a school whose graduates will engage in designing the digital landscape surrounding us, we like to share our conviction of a good, decent and ethical way of creating tomorrows products and services.
The Macromedia University MOOC Design Thinking was launched on Wed, 26.02 2014 at Macromedia University. This event presented MOOCs as the innovative approach in higher education. Its decentralized way of on-demand learning is supported by Macromedia University.
